To promote awareness of and have a commitment to end-of-life care in Southwest Missouri.

Our Purpose

  • Engage the community in conversations on death and dying.
  • Foster communication and community-based solutions that improve end of life.
  • Sponsor educational programs on end-of-life care for community members and health care professionals.

History

Hospice Foundation of the Ozarks was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit foundation to champion the benefits of hospice care and provide grants to support a wide scope of end-of-life services in the Ozarks.

Our philanthropic reach has extended to include a variety of grief and bereavement services, hospice care, palliative care, community outreach and other vital disciplines.  Education has been a vital component of our mission.
