What We’re All About

Our Purpose

  • Engage the community in conversations on death and dying.
  • Foster communication and community-based solutions that improve end of life.
  • Sponsor educational programs on end-of-life care for community members and health care professionals.

To bring dignity and compassion to the end-of-life experience.

To lead and support communities to make a positive impact on the seriously and terminally ill by providing education, administering grants, fostering partnerships, and connecting families to appropriate resources.

Hospice Foundation of the Ozarks was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit foundation to champion the benefits of hospice care and provide grants to support a wide scope of end-of-life services in the Ozarks.

Our philanthropic reach has extended to include a variety of grief and bereavement services, hospice care, palliative care, community outreach and other vital disciplines.  Education has been a vital component of our mission.
