A Distinguished Career in Communication

Regina Waters, Ph.D., currently holds the title of Professor Emerita in Drury University’s Department of Communication. Her academic journey has been marked by an unwavering commitment to fostering learning experiences that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. Dr. Waters earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from (Southwest) Missouri State University and went on to achieve a doctorate in communication with an emphasis in organizational communication from the University of Missouri–Columbia.

Throughout her tenure in academia, Dr. Waters has been a driving force behind applied projects that bridge the gap between students and nonprofit organizations.
